Jessica was born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area.  She attended the University of California Los Angeles (Go Bruins!), with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Political Science. She then spent a year in the Washington D.C. area, working as an assistant for a law firm specializing in capital criminal cases, class action cases, and business litigation, which was her first introduction to law. She moved back to Southern California and went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from University of La Verne, College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude. 

Partner - Los Angeles

Judale Usher was born and raised in Belize Central America and moved to the United States as an adolescent. Mr. Usher attended the University of California Los Angeles where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He has a background in education working as a teacher for Los Angeles Unified School District. After deciding on a legal career, Mr. Usher worked full time as a workers’ compensation research clerk while attending Southwestern Law School in the evenings.

Senior Associate - Los Angeles

Born and raised in Aleppo, Syria, Rena has always demonstrated a commitment to excellence, graduating with the highest grades and achieving first place in her city’s baccalaureate. She pursued her legal education at the University of Aleppo, Faculty of Law, and spent two years training as a junior attorney. During this time, she gained invaluable experience working alongside senior attorneys on diverse cases, including criminal, civil, and real estate matters. It was through working on workers’ compensation cases that she discovered her passion, building a solid reputation for her investigative skills and strategic approach to case management. Her ability to earn the trust of employers and claims administrators has allowed her to forge strong, lasting relationships in her field. 

Associate - Los Angeles

Crystl Chang earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis, where she double majored in English and Philosophy and minored in Classics. She later received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law. Raised primarily in the suburbs of Chicago, Crystl ultimately made her way to California, where she has built both her career and home in Los Angeles. Since 2014, Crystl has focused her practice exclusively in workers’ compensation defense.
