Jessica Chow

Jessica was born and raised in the greater Los Angeles area.  She attended the University California Los Angeles (Go Bruins!), with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in Political Science. She then spent a year in the Washington D.C. area, working as an assistant for a law firm specializing in capital criminal cases, class action cases, and business litigation, which was her first introduction to law. She moved back to Southern California and went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from University of La Verne, College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude.  While there, she also served on the editorial board of the Law Review.

Jessica has experience filtering through a high volume of information to locate key details and facts which could turn a case. She is highly skilled and adept in legal research, and has a firm understanding of the law, using it to both advocate for her clients, and anticipate her opponents moves. This approach allows her to be proactive and well prepared to argue her case before opposing counsel and at the WCAB.  She is always looking for ways to move her cases forward in productive manners.  She has represented an array of clients, from municipalities, to agriculture labor contractors, construction workers, and more.

Jessica volunteers and does pro bono work for the Alliance for Children’s Rights, helping foster kids find permanency and assisting in finalizing adoption paperwork for their permanent families.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs (for now).
