Rena Derartinian
Born and raised in Aleppo, Syria, Rena has always demonstrated a commitment to excellence, graduating with the highest grades and achieving first place in her city’s baccalaureate. She pursued her legal education at the University of Aleppo, Faculty of Law, and spent two years training as a junior attorney. During this time, she gained invaluable experience working alongside senior attorneys on diverse cases, including criminal, civil, and real estate matters.
After relocating to the United States, Rena began her journey as a foreign attorney, transitioning briefly into sales before finding her true calling in the legal field as a legal assistant in a work injury law firm. It was through working on workers’ compensation cases that she discovered her passion, building a solid reputation for her investigative skills and strategic approach to case management. Her ability to earn the trust of employers and claims administrators has allowed her to forge strong, lasting relationships in her field.
Since joining Park|Guenthart, Rena has represented large national employers, municipalities, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators at WCABs throughout Southern California.
Outside of work, Rena is deeply involved in her community, valuing time with her children, enjoying the beach, appreciating beauty, and participating in community service. Known for her warmth and sense of humor, she believes in the importance of a good laugh with friends to maintain balance in life.
