Lakoya Pittman
Lakoya Pittman earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Hampton University. She has more than 12 years of experience in human resources, legal compliance, and employment matters across the public and private sectors, including work with Fortune 500 companies.
Before joining Park Guenthart, Lakoya managed the workers’ compensation program for a multi-state employer with more than 3,000 employees. In that role, she oversaw claims intake, coordinated investigations, facilitated training initiatives, and guided interactive accommodation discussions from inception through resolution.
Her background in employment law, workplace investigations, and legal compliance enables her to help carriers and employers manage risk and reduce exposure with a comprehensive perspective.
Lakoya represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators through all phases of litigation. She is known for her thorough case analysis, strong legal writing, and strategic approach to claim resolution.
