Lisa Fukushima
Lisa Fukushima was born and raised in Orange County, California. She graduated cum laude from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. Lisa went on to attend University of San Diego School of Law, where she earned a spot as a Comments Editor on the San Diego Journal of Climate & Energy Law. While in law school, Lisa also clerked at the Orange County Superior Court and at a civil law firm.
Lisa’s keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and quick responsiveness make her a go-to for legal advice amongst clients and colleagues. Her in-depth knowledge on the Labor Code and MPN regulations give her an edge against opposing counsel. Lisa’s prolific defense strategies help her successfully navigate cases from inception to resolution with favorable outcomes. Lisa’s superior negotiation skills often lead to mitigated exposure and preemptive settlements for clients.
Lisa began her career in family law before joining Park|Guenthart. She brought her experience connecting with her clients to her advocacy in Workers' Compensation.
Since joining P|G Lisa has worked with various insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and employers, including public entities, which has established her familiarity of Labor Code 4850, along with other municipality specific regulations.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys cooking, golfing, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
