Ira Malsi
Born in the Philippines and raised in Canada, Ira Malsi brings a unique global perspective to her legal practice. After completing her undergraduate education in the Philippines, she pursued her Juris Doctor in San Francisco at Golden Gate University School of Law, where she earned and maintained a Dean’s Scholarship throughout law school. Ira was also recognized with a CALI Award in Property Law for her outstanding academic performance. Having lived in several cities during formative stages of her life, she ultimately chose to establish her roots in San Francisco, where she continues to thrive in the Bay Area’s dynamic legal community.
Prior to joining Park Guenthart, Ira worked in Intellectual Property Law, advising artists, entrepreneurs, and business owners on complex copyright, trademark, and patent matters. Though her practice area has since shifted, her client centered approach remains the same. She offers strategic counsel and advocates creatively and effectively to protect her clients’ interests.
As a Workers’ Compensation defense attorney, Ira is known for her proactive case management, clear communication, and ability to craft efficient, results-driven strategies. She is skilled at resolving cases through thoughtful negotiation and settlement, achieving favorable outcomes while minimizing client exposure and litigation costs. Ira represents employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators throughout Northern California.
Outside of work, Ira is an avid coffee and matcha enthusiast who enjoys the ritual of crafting her favorite caffeinated drinks. A dedicated music lover and vinyl record collector, she finds focus and inspiration through her ever-growing collection.
